The Large Double Bit. This axe combines classic Double Bit-style with classic Wolf Valley Forge-style for an exciting member of our axe model lineup. The Large Double Bit is ready for the job of felling trees, chopping firewood, or any other big task you’d like to put it to.
One bit has a finer angle to the edge, making it great for more precision and fine work, while the other bit is slightly steeper and perfect for chopping around knots, near the ground, or any area of rougher work.
The Large Double Bit is forged out of 4142 Chromoly Steel, and has a head weight of approximately 2.5lbs.
The handle length is about 26-inches. It comes with your choice of color options on the American Hickory handle – Natural, Chestnut and Chocolate Brown-dyed. Pictured above is the Chestnut color option.
Each Double Bit comes with a custom-fit leather sheath, in your choice of Rust or Dark Brown color.
