Happy Friday everyone!

Today we’re popping in to give you a look at the Trekker Axe. We were super excited to release this new model to all of you just last month, and now we’re here to give you a close-up look!

The Trekker is that happy in-the-middle between our Bush and Trail Axe models. It has a handle length of approximately 18-inches, making it a super handy size for one- or two-handed jobs. It has a head length of around 6 1/8-inch, and about 3 3/8-inch of cutting edge.

The Trekker also comes with a leather sheath, the same as the Carpenter’s Axe style, custom made for the axe it comes with.

Hello everyone and happy Friday!

We hope you’re all and enjoying this Summer season. Things have been pretty busy around here, and you may have noticed that the blog has been a little quiet lately. But we’re back and thank you so much for stopping by!

Ike currently has six different axe models that he makes, ranging in purpose and application from bigger jobs to small hand work. The models are The Canoe Axe, The Bush Axe, The Carpenter’s Axe, The Trail Axe (in two handle lengths), The Chipper, and The Timber Pup. You may be wondering about each model, what they’re used for, what’s the difference, and which model is best suited for your need.
