Here are a few close-ups of the Bush Axe appearing on the Available Axe page today!
This cool set-up is one of our customized Bush Axes! (you can push HERE for more info about the model) This one features a Leather Axe Collar on that Chocolate Brown Hickory Handle, with a Standard Dark Brown Pack Sheath.
You can head on over to the Available Axe page to see if it’s still available, and please let us know if you have any questions about this one or another of our axes. Thank you so much for looking, and we hope you’re having a wonderful Thursday out there!
We have a little surprise today – we listed up three available axes! Occasionally we have some cancellations, or “unclaimed” axes, and that’s what these are. You can peruse them below, or head on over to the Available Now page to see if they’re still available.
This little Timber Pup features a Chocolate Brown Hickory Handle and a Hand Axe Sheath. The Hand Axe Sheath is different from the Standard Belt Sheath, in that it doesn’t have a belt loop. If you’re not planning to carry this little Puppy on your belt, the Hand Axe Sheath is perfect for stowing in your pack or under your truck seat for ready use.
This Trekker is souped up and ready for work! It’s got a lot to feature…a Chestnut Hickory Handle with Underscorching and Cross-Hatching, and a Standard Pack Sheath with Rust-colored Leather.
This Bush Axe features a Chocolate Brown Hickory Handle + a Leather Shoulder Rig.
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today, and a special thank you to each of you for your business and encouraging support! We hope you’re having a wonderful day out there.
Happy New Year, folks! We hope you’re having a wonderful start to your year so far. We’ve already had snow here, which is a rare and beautiful treat in the southern states.
As we’ve closed out 2021 and now dive into 2022 we have some things to share today! First off, I’d like to announce that Karmen and I welcomed our first baby girl in 2021! We are so thankful for God’s blessing of this bundle of joy in our lives, and are thoroughly enjoying being her parents.
For a little fun fact – in honor of baby Kristen being born, I decided to do a little something special on each Wolf Valley Forge axe. On each axe made after she was born in July until the end of 2021, I switched the angle of the metal wedge in the top of the handle. After the first of 2022, the wedge went back to the original angle. So all of you folks who have an axe made during that time, you can know you have one of a special collection, in honor of my little girl’s arrival.
Left Shows the Kristen Collection Angle; Right is the Regular Angle
And to close out 2021, we’re also offering some 2021 cancellations as Available Axes today!! These three axes are ready to go. This “clear out” features a Canoe Axe, a Trail Axe, and a Timber Pup, all stamped with the 2021 model date. You can hurry on over to the Available Now page to see if they’re still there…
And one more thing, we’ve got a 2022 Mug design! Just up on the site today, and with an introductory sale price! They’re big, they’re ceramic, they’re brown and beige, and they’re ready to join your mornings. 😉 (they’ve even got a fun saying on the back) You can head over HERE to order yours today. Thank you for supporting our brand!
Once again a special THANK YOU to all of our customers in 2021, and thank you for being here with us in 2022! We’re honored to be a part of your adventures, and honored to get to build USA-made axes for you. Happy New Year!
We’re really excited to share something a little different with you, and that is a new custom carver axe design!
Ike is finally letting some of his inner viking come out in this slightly Scandinavian, flared-bit style axe!
This axe has a handle length of approximately 14-1/4-inches, approximately 4-1/2-inches cutting edge, a head weight of about 1lb. 4oz., and comes with a Leather Bit Guard.
Now, we’re not making this design a standard model just yet, but we would love to hear what ya’ll think, and may just add it to our line in the future!
We’re really excited about this medium sized axe, and today we even have one available for purchase, with a Chestnut Hickory handle! You can head over to the Available Now page to see if it’s still available.
