Today I’m here to give you a few closer looks at a Trail Axe. The Trail Axe is the middle in the sizing line-up of the Wolf Valley Forge models. It comes in either a 15-inch and 16-inch handle options, and has a head weight of approximately 1lb. 2- to 3-oz.

Can you guess what this means? Yep, it’s a load of kiln-dried lumber! Each Wolf Valley Forge axe is fit with a Tennessee Hickory handle, so it’s certainly a plus to have a load of it on hand. Now it’s ready to cut and shape to someone’s custom, handforged axe head!
