The Timber Pup is a fun and useful hand axe to have on your belt or in your rucksack. The Timber Pup has an approximate 11-inch overall length. Heads are about 5 1/2-inch in length, with a cutting edge that’s around 3-inch. The head is handforged from 4142 Chromoly steel, heat treated to hold an edge and be extremely tough. The poll is also hardened and can be used as a hammer. Super handy and fun to use!
The head weight on this model is between 13oz. and 14oz.
The Timber Pup’s American Hickory handle is available in three color choices: Natural Hickory, Chestnut-dyed, or Chocolate Brown, all three being oil finished.
Each Timber Pup comes with a Standard Belt Sheath, made especially for the axe that it comes with. (we also have other custom sheath options available)
For a cool way to keep up with what year model your Timber Pup is, each head is stamped with the year that the axe was finished.
