Happy Friday, folks. We want to take a moment to tell you how much we appreciate each of YOU, our customers and supporters! Thank you for choosing to buy USA-made, USA-forged axes from our small company in Alabama, USA. And thank you for making the Wolf Valley Forge blog a part of your day.
Happy Monday! We hope you’re having a great start to your week! Today our spotlight is on a custom Timber Pup… (you can find more info about the Timber Pup model here)
This little Puppy showcases a Natural Hickory Handle, a Dark Brown Standard Belt Sheath, and the Cross-Hatching custom option.
We think you chose a really cool little package, Mr. Kenneth! Thank you so much for letting us build it for you. Have a great day out there, folks!
We have a little surprise today – we listed up three available axes! Occasionally we have some cancellations, or “unclaimed” axes, and that’s what these are. You can peruse them below, or head on over to the Available Now page to see if they’re still available.
This little Timber Pup features a Chocolate Brown Hickory Handle and a Hand Axe Sheath. The Hand Axe Sheath is different from the Standard Belt Sheath, in that it doesn’t have a belt loop. If you’re not planning to carry this little Puppy on your belt, the Hand Axe Sheath is perfect for stowing in your pack or under your truck seat for ready use.
This Trekker is souped up and ready for work! It’s got a lot to feature…a Chestnut Hickory Handle with Underscorching and Cross-Hatching, and a Standard Pack Sheath with Rust-colored Leather.
This Bush Axe features a Chocolate Brown Hickory Handle + a Leather Shoulder Rig.
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today, and a special thank you to each of you for your business and encouraging support! We hope you’re having a wonderful day out there.
Happy Tuesday, folks! We hope you’re having a great week so far.
We love hearing from you, and hearing how you’re enjoying your new axes. We appreciate each of our customers, your emails and all of your encouraging support!
You may remember seeing this Trail Axe on the blog recently in this post. Last week we received this photo and email, and thought we’d share…
“Received the most beautiful thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Just wow, is she beautiful. I want to order the full size axe next, just to have. This thing is going to be perfect for what I plan to do with it.”
Thank you again for ordering from us, Mr. Stephen! And thank ya’ll for stopping by the blog today.
This Chipper shipped out this week, and we thought we’d hop on and share some photos with ya’ll. Thank you so much for letting me build this one for you, Mr. Robert!
This Chipper has a Chestnut Hickory Handle with a Rust-colored Leather Belt Sheath.
This particular piece of Hickory has a beautiful natural “curl” in the wood, which gave it a fancy finish.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today, and we hope ya’ll have a great week out there!
This bundle is shipping out today. These little Kephart Hatchets are looking snazzy sporting their Leather Axe Collars! One’s Chocolate Brown Hickory and the other Chestnut Hickory handled. Top the package off with two tins of Axe Wax, and these are set to go.
Thank you so much for your business and support, Mr. Ellison! I hope these will be greatly enjoyed.
Happy New Year, folks! We hope you’re having a wonderful start to your year so far. We’ve already had snow here, which is a rare and beautiful treat in the southern states.
As we’ve closed out 2021 and now dive into 2022 we have some things to share today! First off, I’d like to announce that Karmen and I welcomed our first baby girl in 2021! We are so thankful for God’s blessing of this bundle of joy in our lives, and are thoroughly enjoying being her parents.
For a little fun fact – in honor of baby Kristen being born, I decided to do a little something special on each Wolf Valley Forge axe. On each axe made after she was born in July until the end of 2021, I switched the angle of the metal wedge in the top of the handle. After the first of 2022, the wedge went back to the original angle. So all of you folks who have an axe made during that time, you can know you have one of a special collection, in honor of my little girl’s arrival.
Left Shows the Kristen Collection Angle; Right is the Regular Angle
And to close out 2021, we’re also offering some 2021 cancellations as Available Axes today!! These three axes are ready to go. This “clear out” features a Canoe Axe, a Trail Axe, and a Timber Pup, all stamped with the 2021 model date. You can hurry on over to the Available Now page to see if they’re still there…
And one more thing, we’ve got a 2022 Mug design! Just up on the site today, and with an introductory sale price! They’re big, they’re ceramic, they’re brown and beige, and they’re ready to join your mornings. 😉 (they’ve even got a fun saying on the back) You can head over HERE to order yours today. Thank you for supporting our brand!
Once again a special THANK YOU to all of our customers in 2021, and thank you for being here with us in 2022! We’re honored to be a part of your adventures, and honored to get to build USA-made axes for you. Happy New Year!
