Today we’re checking in with another axe spotlight, and this week’s addition is a custom Trekker. Thank you so much for letting us build this one for you, Mr. Jay!
He had us pull out the cool Custom Options for this one! For starters, it has a Chestnut Hickory handle.
This Trekker features a Leather Axe Collar, Handle Cross-Hatching, and a Lanyard.
The sheath is a Dark Brown Leather Shoulder Rig-Belt Loop Combo, which allows for shoulder or belt carry, all in one package.

This Trail Axe has a Natural Hickory Handle and a Standard Dark Brown Leather Belt Sheath. These sheaths make for an easy and handy carry on your belt wherever you go.

Ike, My Canoe Axe is the BEST axe I have ever owned! If I go into the woods to do saw or axe work, the canoe axe is ALWAYS with me! I just cleared some hazardous trees today actually. The axe has held up wonderfully! Thank you for such an outstanding tool Ike,

This cool little Kephart has a Chestnut Hickory Handle with Underscorching stripes.
It features a custom Rust-Leather Belt Sheath! Our Kephart’s come standard with a thong-closure sheath, but we think Zack’s idea of a belt sheath was a really cool addition to this Kephart!

This Trekker features a Natural Hickory Handle and a Rust-Leather Carpenter’s-style Sheath, which comes standard with the Trekker.

A sheath brings an axe up to a whole new level. Without a good holster of some kind, the axe is bound to either cut someone or dull its blade. But a bit protector of some kind, makes an axe so much more usable and packable.
For each Wolf Valley Forge axe, we make sure to build a special Leather Sheath, built custom for that axe. Depending on the axe model you’re looking at, you may see it sporting a Standard Belt and Pack Axe Sheath, Carpenter’s-style Sheath, Camp Axe Sheath, Kephart Sheath, or a custom Extra-D Ring Sheath or Shoulder Rig.
We love making each axe special and custom with all our different custom options, so feel free to browse through those options and build an axe just for you! We’ve got sheath options, color options, handle options…option, options. 🙂
