The Bush Boy Special
Introducing: The Bush Boy Special. The Bush Boy was designed and made with the bushcrafter in mind. The slightly heavier head makes it ideal for chopping and wood splitting, while the 24-inch handle length keeps it easy to transport and use around the camp site. This model is designed for heavy use, so it’s perfect for anyone looking into long-term camping or real-life bushcrafting who just want an all-around axe to do the job.
The Bush Boy Special has a 2.25lb. head, forged out of 4142 Chromoly steel, heat treated to hold an edge and be extremely tough. So it’s rough and ready. It has a nicely-sized hardened poll for pounding stakes and cracking hickory nuts.

The 24-inch handle is made out of tough and ready American Hickory, and you can choose from Natural, Chocolate Brown or Chestnut-dyed handle colors. All handle options are oil finished.
The Bush Boy Special comes with a leather sheath, with a snap closure and brass rivets, made especially for the axe that it comes with. We also offer some additional sheath options, which you can check out on our Custom Options page.
For a cool way to keep up with your Bush Boy year model, each axe is stamped with that year under the poll. As with all of our Wolf Valley Forge axes, the Bush Boy Special comes with a full lifetime warranty and free repairs, if it’s ever needed down the trail.
